Display sharepoint list in infopath form

SharePoint List data in infopath form with reduced access 


The goal here is to create a infopath form that will display the dynamic data of the SharePoint list.


Step 1: Open Blank infopath form.

Go to Microsoft infopath Designer File àBlank form àDesign form

 


Step 2:Create Connection with Sharepoint List.

Go to Data Tab à From Share Point List




Provide your Share Point site details and Click “Next”




Provide your Share Point site Login credentials (Username, Password).




Select List and Click “Next”




Click “Next”



Click “Finish”




You can see Secondary data source (Share Point List Data) under Fields.


Step 3: Adding list data to InfoPath form

Select Secondary data source (Share Point List Data) under Fields.
Expand My Fields à Data Fields à d:Share Point List Item_RW

 

Drag and drop d:Share Point List Item_RW  into InfoPath form, and select Repeating Table.

  

Your Share Point List fields will be populated in the InfoPath form Repeating table.  



Step 4: Preview Info Path form

Select “Preview” under Home tab or Press “F5” and provide your login credentials to see the Share Point list data in Info Path form.    





That's all about sharepoint list data in the infopath form.
